'Millie' on stage
by Editors Mar 5, 2008

Thoroughly Modern Millie was nominated for 11 Tony Awards in 2002 and won six, including Best Musical. The musical romp through the roaring ’20s tells the story of young Millie Dillmount, a small-town girl with big dreams. She moves to New York in order to find herself a rich husband, but ends up falling for someone else.
The Civic Theatre will present Millie in all her flapper glory March 7-March 22. Tickets are $25 (Thursdays) and $32 (Fridays-Sundays). For tickets, call the box office, 3200 Cold Spring Road, on the campus of Marian College, at 317-923-4597 or go to www.civictheatre.org.
