Albert Collins
Eagle
Four stars

“The Master of the Telecaster” Albert Collins may have died in 1993, but Eagle Records has been pulling out great old performances from the Montreux Jazz Festival for reissue. Bravo for giving folks another blues guitar lesson from Dr. Collins. Epics like “Lights Are On (But Nobody’s Home),” “Too Many Dirty Dishes” and “Put the Shoe on the Other Foot” are highlights. Also check out the DVD.

Sounds like: icy-hot Texas blues
