The Goodguys 18th Hot Rod Nationals, one of the nation’s largest gatherings of hot rods and custom cars, returns to Indianapolis Raceway Park for three days of cruising, June 9-11. This event is presented by auto parts retail giant Advance Auto Parts.

The event boasts over 5,000 1972 and older street rods, customs and classics and over 400 vintage race cars. In addition, the event will feature over 500 vintage race cars competing in 12 classes on the famed IRP quarter mile. Other events include a huge manufacturers’ midway, a giant used parts swap meet, a cars for sale area, a model and pedal car show and a kids area.

Spectator hours are Friday-Saturday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday, 8 a.m.-3 p.m. with the awards ceremony at 2:22 p.m. Sunday at the starting line of the IRP dragstrip. Admission is $20, kids (7-12) $6 and ages 6 and under are free. All admissions include a free pit pass. To purchase tickets online, go to www.good-guys.com.
