Frankey's Fashion Show
by Rebecca Davidson Apr 30, 2008

Three and a half stars
St. Margret's Hospital Guild 2008 Decorator's Show House; April 24

Frankey’s — a local upper-scale designer and specialty clothing boutique — trotted spring’s latest fashions down the runway in front of the Show House located at 4622 N. Pennsylvania St. Models of every age showed off fashions from Diesel to Nicole Miller, showing Frankey’s versatility in style. Frankey’s proved anyone can wear fashions as edgy as L.A.M.B. by Gwen Stefani. Spring’s bright colors were in full effect and there were definitely some risky combinations — will blue and black be the new tan and white? Following the fashion show, a tour of the Show House ensued. The pool deck area proved to be one of the most impressive spaces, designed by Especially Wicker, Inc., complete with a large outdoor kitchen with a brick oven specially designed for pool-side pizzas. Funds raised by this event and others involving the Decorators’ Show House will benefit Wishard Health Services like Haven of Hope and a new project called EMBRACE that will assist women who are fighting and recovering from cancer. You can find out more about the event’s 47-year history at www.showhouseindy.com.
