Gogol's 'Marriage'
by Editors Feb 27, 2008

If farce is tragedy that happens to someone else, then Nikolai Gogol’s classic Marriage, Feb. 27-March 2 in Butler University’s Lilly Hall Studio Theatre, should be a riot. Involving an aging bachelor, a matchmaker, spinster and a gaggle of assorted, other suitors, the play, translated from the Russian, is directed by Elaina Artemiev. Show times are at 8 p.m., with matinees March 1-2 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. They’re available by calling 317-940-9247 or http://www.butler.edu/theatre/current.aspx.
