Quilts
SullivanMunce Cultural Center in Zionsville presents an exhibit of contemporary quilts by the Charm Club, Basically New, with a special appearance by Kate Lenkowsky, author of Contemporary Quilt Art, An Introduction and Guide, at the opening reception July 18 from 6-8 p.m.
Contemporary and traditional studio quilt art combines techniques of the traditional craft with thought-provoking expressive materials and objects.
The exhibit will be up through Oct. 18. The SullivanMunce Cultural Center is located at 225 W. Hawthorne St. in Zionsville. Call 317-873-4900 or go to www.sullivanmunce.org for information.
