The ISO meets the Internet
by Editors Mar 19, 2008

Beginning March 21, select Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra programs will be available for free via streaming on the InstantEncore.com Web site. Many programs will also be available for download for a small fee.

The ISO is the first major American orchestra to partner with InstantEncore.com for this service. In a press release, ISO President Simon Crookall said, “The partnership with InstantEncore.com gives us a great platform for recordings of our live performances for music lovers all over the world.”

Many programs will be available online within 24-48 hours following concert weekend performances for streaming and download. ISO concertgoers will receive a card with a unique code when they attend concerts. The card and code will allow them to stream or download programs they attended.

To access recorded programs on March 21, go to the ISO homepage and click on the link or go directly to Instant Encore and click on “Music.”
