Public meetings are being held by the Metropolitan Planning Organization concerning a $160 million light-rail mass transit system connecting the Noblesville area with downtown Indianapolis that could be up and running in three to five years. Future meetings are scheduled for 6 p.m. June 23 at the Carmel Monon Center; 6 p.m. June 24 at the Central Library building in Indianapolis; and 5:30 p.m. June 30 at Fishers Town Hall.
