NUVO Says:
Miki Mathioudakis as the legendary 19th century Appalachian quilter Aunt Jane in a one-woman play by Rita Kohn. As she begins to make one last quilt, Aunt Jane reminisces about her life in Northern Kentucky as a descendant of a family of early settlers who came across the Cumberland Gap from “Old Dominion.” An early exponent of equal rights between men and women she philosophizes and comments on domestic relationships and community and church events with cutting-edge wit wisdom that predates Will Rogers. May 15, 7 p.m.; May 16, 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday-Friday night performances $10 for non-members; Friday 10:30 a.m. matinee included with museum admission.
